Understanding stomach pain

Stomach pain is a surprisingly common condition. Rather like some people are prone to headaches, some people are more susceptible to stomach aches. Research shows 30% of Australians suffer from stomach aches and cramps every few months or more*.

Because we are all unique, not all stomach discomfort is the same. Different people suffer for different reasons and its important to identify the symptoms early on.

You may experience - Dull aches, cramping or stabbing pains. This may result in the stomach muscles cramping up or going into spasm.

Learning more about stomach pain and discomfort may assist in more effective management of the symptoms; therefore minimising the disruption that stomach pain may have on your daily activity.
